After we got all the bags moved in, we took inventory of what we would need. Kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and food. And took a trip to the WalMart in the Marina. We were able to get most of what we needed, but since we Uber back we were limited, so it meant another trip on Friday. That handled most of the list. On Sunday afternoon, we'll take a trip to the Home Depot out by the airport. I was spoiled in Dallas, as the Home Depot was almost within walking distance. Now it's almost 30 miles away. Oh well.
It is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, about 1,400 square feet. We have rented it for a year. Once we get about 2 months from the end of the lease, we'll have to make a decision if we want to stay here, or move elsewhere. Cyndi mentioned this morning how interesting it is to live in a "modern" condo like this, yet, in the morning, sitting on the patio drinking a cup of coffee, we here a rooster crowing.
Below is a video of the condo and how to get to it. It's not of the specific move. No way could I video and move at the same time. So that morning I did a quick walkthrough with the maintenance guy, Alfredo, and got the keys. This video gives you and idea of what we have.
