Wednesday night, Nacho Daddy's had a Halloween Party celebration, and a 10 years anniversary celebration. In conjunction with Mexico's Dia de Los Muertos celebration. Sean Moore and Tammy Proust, the co-owners, threw a great party upstairs, with several bands playing. One was Sean's band, The Texas Embassy Blues Band. The other was a band called The Jokers, who do a kind of Rock-a-billy sound like The Stray Cats. I'm amazed at the quality of fun music there is in Puerto Vallarta. I've attached some picture and videos below for your entertainment.
We decided to go full blown Dia de Los Muertos. Cyndi had her face "professionally" done at Cassandra Shaw's Jewelers, across the street from Nacho Daddy's, where the proceeds of the cost of the face painting went to support a local dog shelter. Mine, well, I did it myself, and Cyndi added some final touches. The toughest part is having to scratch an itch on your nose, but you can't because you'll smear your greasepaint, and get it all over your fingers.
Our good friends Rosa and Bill. Married for 39 years. She's from Guadalajara and he's originally from Nova Scotia. They live south of Zona Romantica, about a kilometer north of Boca de Tomatlan. Really nice people.
A stray cat hanging around at the front door.
Hanging around at the bar downstairs.
The dance floor got busy!!!

The Jokers, playing their set. Yes, we were close to the stage upstairs. A couple of short videos of their performance is below.

AND THEN THE RAINS CAME!!!! It didn't damper the fun we had that night. Looking forward to next year's party.
